About Introduction to Portfolio Management
This 6 hour Varsity Introduction to Portfolio Management course equips students with knowledge of portfolio management that covers the principles and practices of managing an investment portfolio. This course focuses on the theory and practice of constructing and managing a diversified investment portfolio. It provides students with an understanding of the various types of investment vehicles and their associated risks and rewards, as well as how to measure and manage portfolio risk. Additionally, the course emphasizes the importance of asset allocation, security selection, and risk management strategies in the investment decision-making process.
Students will also identify the fundamentals of price action to become acquainted with the components of a chart as well as the method of reading and comprehending chart price actions.
