Sunita Bhuyan

Sunita Khaund Bhuyan is a violinist and HR professional on Wellness, leadership and change through the medium music. She is a disciple of her mother violinist Minoti Khaund and maestro Padmabibhushan Pandit V. G. Jog of Kolkata. A recipient of the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award for excellence, the Rotary International "Woman of Abundance" award, the woman of the decade award by the Women Economic forum, The Giants International award for women's leadership, The IWLF award on Innovation, amongst many others. She is the ambassador of the South Asian Women's Fund , on women's rights and a REX Karmaveer global awardee and fellow. As a "Joy of giving" Ambassador for Don Bosco, she has received the blessings from His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican for her work on music therapy and was recently invited as a special guest for Mother Teresa's Canonisation.

Sunita recently performed with Grammy award winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt for the Honourable PM and his delegates at Vibrant Gujarat Investors Summit.

As a concert musician, her album " Bihu Strings" by Times Music is the only album of folk on the violin in India and she is passionate about her collaborations in UK and Europe on inclusive world music.
